Our structure

Takeovers and mergers. Arbitration and litigation. Finance and real estate. As a full service firm, our work is incredibly varied. Thanks to the quality of our global network and world-class Business Services professionals, we work with some of the biggest international organisations on some of their most ambitious projects.

We’re organised along six global divisions – corporate; dispute resolution; finance, real estate and projects; employment, pensions and incentives; competition, regulation and trade and Alternative Legal Services.

We pull together bespoke teams of experts from across our global network to draw on the right experience and expertise regardless of location. Our multidisciplinary and sector-based approach allows us to deliver value by focussing on the critical issues for our clients.

OUR INCLUSIVE CULTURE

Our vision is ambitious – we want to be the leading law firm for our diverse and inclusive culture. We recognise the power of diversity and inclusion to drive innovation, collaboration and business outcomes.

Inclusion is about creating an environment which values diversity and which enables people to bring their authentic self to work. An inclusive culture is the hallmark of a high performance organisation and is characterised by openness, respect, equality and non-discrimination.

It drives our 5 core priorities: advancing gender equality, racial parity and justice, safety for our LGBT+ clients and colleagues, increased hiring and accommodation of people with disabilities and protecting the mental health and wellbeing of all our people.

We are not limited in our approach to diversity and have a range of initiatives across the firm on including with respect to gender, race, age, religion and belief, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability and social mobility.

Our diverse and inclusive workforce drives the innovative and successful solutions we deliver for our clients and helps us continue to attract and retain the best talent worldwide.

DIVERSITY NETWORKS

Our diversity networks are at the heart of our firm, helping to connect our people and support our Leading for Inclusion strategy. They are a vibrant part of our inclusive culture, influencing key decisions, educating teams and driving change through innovative events, campaigns and initiatives. Joining our networks provides access to a supportive group of role models and peers committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive profession, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in some exciting projects from day one.

PRO BONO AND responsible business

Our pro bono practice is part of the firm's core business. Our work is driven first and foremost by the impact it creates and the value we add for our pro bono clients. In 2021, we provided over 70,000 hours of pro bono legal assistance across our network. Our pro bono practice prioritises assisting people experiencing or at increased risk of marginalisation, underrepresentation or systemic disadvantage, including: young people, First Nations people, people with disabilities, LGBT+ community members, displaced persons and women. We collaborate broadly to develop cross-sector partnerships with clients, charities and other firms.
