Working in Dubai

The working week generally starts on Sunday and ends on Thursday with a two-day weekend.

The majority of people living and working in Dubai enjoy a high standard of living, tax-free income, great weather for most of the year and a wide range of social, healthcare, and educational services.

You can choose from a wide range of accommodation – from sea view apartments at the Dubai marina to luxury villa compounds and modern cutting-edge real estate next to the iconic Burj Dubai or in the Dubai International Financial Centre.

Dubai offers many social and cultural attractions. The city boasts some of the most luxurious hotels in the world, notably the world-famous Burj Al Arab. There is also a wide range of restaurants, bars and clubs, as well as great beaches.

Dubai is renowned for its shopping, with luxurious malls that are home to famous brands and even a ski slope. Home to the world’s biggest mall, the Dubai Mall, Dubai is set to become one of the world’s shopping capitals.

You can experience Dubai’s more traditional culture through desert adventures or by visiting the authentic local souqs.

Benefits vary depending on your role with the firm, but can include 30 days holiday per calendar year, life assurance, end-of-service gratuity or 7% uplift on monthly salary in lieu of pension, health insurance, maternity/paternity provisions, participation in the bonus scheme and an interest-free housing loan.

Global Mobility and Client Secondments

As a global organisation we support opportunities for our lawyers to spend time in other offices within our network. Fostering our 'one firm' culture, international secondments are a key way in which we share our expertise, enrich experiences and broaden horizons.

Opportunities to spend time at a client working within their in-house legal team are also common.
