Training Programme

About the Training Programme
Outstanding law graduates are welcome to apply to our two-year training programme. Based in Singapore, you’ll commence your Practice Training Contract with our Formal Law Alliance, Prolegis LLC, for 12 months to complete your first two rotations and work on high-profile cases and deals for prestigious clients. You'll be admitted to Singapore Bar upon completing the Practice Training Contract, and complete the rest of the training programme in our Singapore office.

We also offer two-year training contract to graduates who prefer getting qualified in England & Wales only.
The SQE Trainees on our joint graduate programme with Prolegis LLC will be sponsored to undertake the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) at the end of the two-year training programme.
Life as a future joiner
We take the development and welfare of our future lawyers very seriously. Even before starting the training programme with us, you'll be invited to social events in our office and start building your network.

We also know that life in a commercial law firm can feel daunting, but you’ll be well supported through mentorship, training sessions and workshops. You’ll also have regular conversations with partners and HR about your seat choices and qualification options, and the option to take a secondment at one of our overseas offices.
Be a part of everything
Over the two-year training programme, you’ll rotate across four, six-month seats, giving you the chance to experience different practice areas before committing to a specialism.

All trainees on our joint graduate programme spend time in corporate and litigation at Prolegis in the first two seats. You can also choose to sit in finance, employment, energy and international arbitration and have the opportunity to take a secondment at our of our overseas offices.
Who can apply
All vacation scheme students will be interviewed for the joint training programme or England & Wales training contract during the vacation scheme. We also accept direct applications after the vacation scheme.

You must be able to live and work legally in Singapore to apply.
