Application requirements

You’ll either be a fourth, fifth or sixth year law student, or already hold a degree in law, and you must have a good command of English. You’ll need to display a strong knowledge of the law, a capacity for free-thinking, speaking and acting properly, and you should fit well into the general spirit of the firm.

Our intake typically takes place in Winter and Summer, so trainees can start their tenure under contract in Spring or Autumn. You’ll undergo a round of tests and four stages of interviews.

  • The first meeting is with our dedicated HR team, where you’ll learn about working in the firm before undergoing a pre-selection screening. On the same day you will be asked to complete the Business IQ test.
  • Based on your Business IQ test results, we’ll invite to you to the next stage – carry out test comprising of a general civil law questionnaire and a translation exercise involving translating legal texts from English into Russian, and vice versa.
  • Subject to the overall results of all the tests, we’ll set up further meetings for you with senior associates and partners.
